Chozenji Temple offers two types of graves: an Eitai-kuyo memorial grave and private graves. These options are intended for people who are concerned about the future care and succession of a family grave, or who are considering a new place for burial and memorial services.

Two Types of Graves

Eitai-kuyo Memorial Grave

This grave is intended for people who do not have someone to inherit a family grave, or who are concerned about the future management of a grave. The remains are placed in the memorial grave and cared for by Chozenji Temple.

This option may be suitable for those who do not wish to place the burden of grave care on their children or relatives, those looking for a place for burial, or those who wish to prepare during their lifetime.

Private Grave

This option is for people who would like to have a grave for themselves or their family. It is suitable for those who wish to keep a more traditional form of grave, where family members can visit and offer prayers.

The number of available plots is limited. If you are interested, we will show you the actual location and explain the conditions of use and management.
